The Spirit of IUPUI
People always tell you what not to do. That was the line that sparked the idea for this commercial. Internally called "Run With Scissors" this is one piece of a trilogy of commercials we produced for IUPUI. The leadership in marketing wanted a message that was edgy and spoke to the campus spirit of IUPUI which connects directly to the city of Indianapolis.
From building a fake dance marathon and regatta to convincing someone to let us film in the campus bell tower, this series was full of excitement and energy that translated onto the screen.
Utilized in broadcast advertising for multiple years, perhaps this spot's greatest claim to fame is use in multiple Super Bowl regional broadcasts.
