Last autumn, Rose-Hulman was hosting a gala for alumni, faculty, and students alike, to celebrate their 150th anniversary as an institution. Blueline was charged with creating a celebratory video to premiere at the gala, one that would touch on the spirit of math / science / engineering, the community that Rose-Hulman has fostered over the decades, and the promise of ensuring that level of commitment to STEM as a through line into the future. We utilized various sources of interview content from across the past year, and staged a studio setting to film historical artifacts in. This included a dive into their archives to find historical photos, videos, speeches, and objects, all to visually root this message in the history of Rose-Hulman while projecting the same timeless ideals, thoughts and dreams of RH graduating classes past and present.
