Hoosier Pride: Peach Bowl Edition

The biggest IU fan we know doesn’t watch the games… but he always listens.
Lonnie Bedwell will be cheering on the Hoosiers during the Peach Bowl, and so will we!
This summer, he had the opportunity to speak to the IU Football team, as well as the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams in the Henke Hall of Champions at Memorial Stadium. In speaking about his summits of the tallest peak on every continent, he spoke about how he overcomes adversity and how the loss of his eyesight gave him clearer vision.
Lonnie also got to chat with members of the IU, Bloomington, and regional community. (Thanks Fernando Mendoza, Alberto Mendoza, Isaiah Jones, and Charlie Becker among others for coming up to him to say hi!)
