2025 has proven to be a dynamic, multi-layered media year for Sungrow. It has included more unique deliverables, extensive site capture, event coverage, and Blueline’s deeper involvement alongside Sungrow in its industry partnerships. In terms of output, the 2025 budget supported more production days and generated more images. 

2025 also marked an evolution in messaging strategy, which brought Blueline Producers, RenewComm, and the Sungrow marketing team into closer collaboration. For example, the year began with a presentation from Sungrow HQ’s branding team. This training enabled Blueline’s internal team to create custom graphics for Sungrow throughout the year while maintaining brand standards. With partnerships broadened across Sungrow’s departments, and deepened during the 2025 Summit in Hefei, Blueline produced another high volume of deliverables across multiple platforms and orientations. We are so grateful for the opportunity!  

 

More videos are incoming. This report serves to illustrate all of the content covered under the 2025 budget year thus far.

Partners

Sungrow continues to stand in strong company among its industry peers and partners. This year, Sungrow capitalized on these relationships to capture high-quality site imagery and showcase Sungrow products in real-world applications where they make a measurable impact. The videos made from these shoots also allowed customers to speak genuinely about their experience with Sungrow, leading to honest and reliable messaging. In some cases, these inter-partner collaborations expanded, with Blueline being asked to produce custom deliverables not only for Sungrow but also for the host company.

Spearmint

The stunning visuals and glowing testimonies captured at Spearmint’s “Revolution” site started Sungrow’s 2025 media rollout with top-quality videos. Blueline worked proactively alongside Spearmint and Sungrow teams for months before filming in order to come up with content strategies that would achieve messaging goals for both Sungrow and for Spearmint. Sungrow’s testimonial video premiered across all formats: 9:16, vertical, and 1:1 square. (China HQ also requested a Chinese subtitled version.) Spearmint received a video walkthrough of their site that they use in presentations to investors and locals before developing new site locations.

Elevate

The 2025 PT2 install at Elevate’s Arthur Kill site enabled Sungrow to capture visuals unique to its existing content library. Not only was this the first delivery of PT2s in the United States, the delivery took place in the center of one of the most recognizable cities in the world. The visual strategy focused on revealing how Sungrow’s technology enabled Elevate to build a project with a uniquely small footprint, right next to existing power infrastructure. Interviews showcased Sungrow’s professional, and transparent staff and gave Elevate employees a platform to describe their successful relationship with Sungrow. As with the Spearmint shoot, Blueline facilitated the delivery of a copy of all the footage to Sungrow’s site host.

Stunning Visuals

Imagery has become a key part of the Sungrow visual strategy in marketing material, web design, social feeds, print, and booth design for both ACP and RE. Over 2,000 new images have been delivered so far in 2025, more than the previous year. The increase in photos means Sungrow always has the right image on hand across a range of use cases: events, employee headshots, product photography, contract signings, and company culture material. 

Thought Leadership

As part of its 2025 strategy, Sungrow’s communications team wanted to feature employee expertise in a way that was transparent and simple, but that never sacrificed on quality or compromised its innovative look. What emerged was an interview series in which Sungrow employees shared their personality and professional knowledge, allowing their humanity to take center stage. Sungrow interviews were paired with custom animations, the raw material for which was filmed directly in Sungrow’s Houston warehouse.

Bite-Size Content 

Small, mobile-oriented material helped Sungrow lead the narrative in 2025 as a reliable, socially responsible, and technologically innovative company. These shorter videos were made with mobile in mind. They regularly feature custom, brand-compliant graphics and prominent text that is effective both with the sound on, or with the sound off, as is usually the case with Sungrow’s Linkedin audience. The themes range from ESG-oriented, like the “Red Cross” video, to customer-facing, like the “Bankability” video.

Unique Deliverables 

2025’s evolving messaging goals and the addition of new communications partners like RenewComm gave rise to a range of unique deliverables. All deliverables were purpose-made to complement Sungrow advertising in other mediums, train Sungrow’s workforce, or showcase Sungrow’s thought leadership within the industry. 

Training Videos with RenewComm

Sungrow’s in-house marketing strategy team works closely with RenewComm to craft messaging that meets the moment. So it was only natural that Blueline join the team collaboration to craft videos useful across Sungrow’s workforce. These videos trained both North American and Chinese employees in how to speak successfully to the press with honesty and ease.

Bloomberg

This thought leadership piece proved to be one of Sungrow’s “most engaging” videos according to Linkedin’s marketing analytics. The video was built around Sungrow employee, Michael Prine-Robie’s panel discussion during the 2025 Bloomberg conference. The video features custom animations and was designed in collaboration with RenewComm to drive traffic to a longer article via a link.

Custom GIFS

A significant portion of Sungrow’s audience is made up of industry professionals who primarily engage on LinkedIn. To support this, Sungrow’s marketing strategy team worked with Blueline to develop custom GIFs designed to drive traffic to key articles, aligning with LinkedIn users’ preference for content that helps them learn and advance their skills.

Events

Sungrow’s visibility at major energy conferences continued apace in 2025. These events, which gather a bulk of Sungrow NA’s workforce in one location, prompted a more intentional content-capture strategy. Deliverables produced from these conferences included recap videos, product demonstrations, interviews, headshots, and company culture content. The collaborative approach between Sungrow and Blueline has resulted in a system that yields months of high-quality marketing material from each event.

Clean Power

With careful planning, Blueline captured footage for a variety of post-conference deliverables while still producing a conference recap video for China HQ before the event even concluded. Rounding out the deliverables package were headshots, event coverage, product demos, and daily image drops for social media that drove traffic to the Sungrow booth throughout the conference.

RE+

Sungrow’s booth featured at the epicenter of the year’s biggest energy conference. It was an event marked by multiple Sungrow product releases crucial to the North American market. Again, by coordinating with the China HQ team, Blueline was able to deliver a recap video with striking visuals and custom animations that emphasized Sungrow’s team spirit and frontier technology. Coverage also included interviews, material for product launches, custom photography, and more.

Product Launches

RE+ served as the platform for launching three new products: the PowerStack 255, the SG 4800, and the Power Titan 3. (The PowerStack had been briefly introduced at ACP, but RE+ offered its full reveal.) Blueline was proud to support these launches, helping Sungrow make a clear statement about its commitment to innovation and market leadership. The videos highlight key players from Sungrow’s workforce and function as sales leads for the Sungrow NA sales teams.
